Kindergarten Registration
If you have a student that will be 5 by August 18, 2026 and are a Northwood resident please click the link for the 2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration Packet. If you do not have access to a printer please contact our Enrollment Coordinator, Naomi Smith at 419-691-3888 ext. 2005 or at nsmith@northwoodschools.org and she will mail you a packet.
Open Enrollment
Thank you so much for your interest in having your student(s) educated at Northwood Local Schools. Our Board of Education has added a special open enrollment window for new open enrollment applications. Here is what you need to know:
- We will begin accepting new special open enrollment applications for the 2026-2027 school year on October 26, 2026. The last day to turn in a new special open enrollment application for the 2026-2027 school year is November 4, 2026.

- New Special Open Enrollment Applications for the 2026-2027 school year can be download here (Special Open Enrollment Application 26-27.pdf), or picked up in the Board office. The Board office is open M-F from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm and is located at 700 Lemoyne Rd in the Arts, Athletics and Administarion building.
- Completed applications and supporting documents may be emailed to nsmith@northwoodschools.org or dropped off at the Board office. (Please note the office hours above)
- Determination letters will be sent out no later than Friday, Novermber 13, 2026.
