Kindergarten Registration

If you have a student that will be 5 by August 18, 2026 and are a Northwood resident please click the link for the 2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration Packet.  If you do not have access to a printer please contact our Enrollment Coordinator, Naomi Smith at 419-691-3888 ext. 2005 or at nsmith@northwoodschools.org and she will mail you a packet.

Open Enrollment

Thank you so much for your interest in having your student(s) educated at Northwood Local Schools.  Here is what you need to know about Open Enrollment (additional information can be found in the OE Guidelines):

• We are not accepting any additional applications for the 2025-2026 school year.
• We will begin accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year on May 1st (per our Board Policy).  The last day to turn in an application for the 2026-2027 school year is May 30th.
• Applications for the 2026-2027 can be download here (2026-2027 OE Guidelines and Application), picked up in the school office or in the Board office.  The school office and Board office are open M-F from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm.
• Completed applications and supporting documents may be emailed to nsmith@northwoodschools.org or dropped off to the school office or the Board office.  (Please note the office hours above)
• Determination letters will be sent out the week of June 15th.
