Children & Youth Program

CLC Summer Camp
Service Provided:
Summer STARS is a summer program for elementary students that is similar to the before and after school program. Students will engage in Challenge Centers, maker twice a day, and participate in outdoor physical activity. Tuesdays and Fridays are travel days; Tuesdays being educational and fun field trips and Fridays being trips to the local pool for swimming. Meals provided.

Children Resource Center COPE Group Session
Service Provided: Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment, which is a once-weekly, seven-session coping skills program. COPE uses therapeutic techniques to teach skills such as positive self-talk, resiliency, and problem-solving. Each student receives an interactive workbook that has fun activities and a parent section for guardians to follow along each week. Each session takes about thirty minutes.
