Open Enrollment Process
If you are interested in applying for Open Enrollment at Northwood Local Schools for your child or children the following is a guideline of the process:
Applications for the 2013-14 school year are available now through Friday, April 26. Applications will be on our district website, www.northwoodschools.org or you make pick up a copy at the Board of Education Office located at 500 Lemoyne Road.

View the Open Enrollment Guidelines here.
If you are applying for more than one child, each child will need a separate application.
All applications must be returned to the Board of Education office. Applications are date & time received stamped.
For students in current grades K-8, a copy of their current grade card will need to be turned in with their application.
For students currently in grades 9 -11 an unofficial copy of their high school transcript will need to be included with their application.
If your child is interested in attending Penta Career Center for 2013-14 school year, please go to Penta’s website and download their application. Turn in all 3 documents to Northwood at the same time. Do not apply to Penta first, as they will not consider your child’s application unless they know your child has applied through Northwood to attend Penta Career Center.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please make sure your child’s application is complete and all additional information is included.
Final decisions on open enrollment applications will be made by the end of May and letters of notification will be mailed out by the middle of June.
